An overturned car just before Grand Bazaar if coming from South. This just happened. So there will now be traffic heading South on the Uriah Butler Highway too as people will slow to watch the accident. Photo by Super Sam.

Traffic has been backed up on the northbound lane of the Solomon Hochoy since this morning and continues to be at 11:00 am Trinidad time. It remains unclear if the cause of the traffic is anything other than people clogging the roads on their way to Christmas shopping.
It is also raining in most parts of South Trinidad including deep South like Mayaro, Rio Claro and Siparia. Light flooding was also reported in Mayaro and on Union Road in Marabella.
It is also raining in Sangre Grande and traffic on the Eastern Main Road was said to be crawling. Traffic at Valencia as usual.
Photo of the intersection at Grand Bazaar by Ellis. It shows slow traffic into POS and moderate to the East.
